Dr. Albert went to Medical School at Washington University in St. Louis and completed his Dermatology training at the Washington Hospital Center. He graduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelors Degree in Physics--Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa. He has extensive knowledge and experience with lasers. He was doing research with laser transmission through fogs long before lasers were used in Dermatology.
Dr. Albert is founder of The Shalom Children's Fund, which buys clothes, food, medication and medical supplies for poor and orphaned children in the Ukraine. The fund recently built a playground at the Orphanage in Zitomer. This charity has been in existence for 7 years and has purchased clothing and food for over 400 children. The fund is unique in that all donated monies, 100%, go directly to the children. Dr. Albert personally supervises the purchasing and distribution of clothing and takes the children shopping every 2 -3 months.
