Dr. Moses K. Albert: Washingtonian Magazine and Northern Virginia Magazine #1 Top Doctor listed for 2012!!! A board certified Dermatologist, practicing in Northern Virginia for over 25 years. He is most concerned about providing the highest quality skin care to his patients. He has been named Washingtonian Top Doctor in 2002, 2005, 2008 and 2010, 2012 and America Best Doctors and Northern Virginia Magazine Top Doctor. Dr. Albert was the first to perform Collagen Soft Tissue Augmentation in the DC
area and among the first Doctors to be certified in cosmetic laser Dermatology in the DC area. He specializes in General and Cosmetic Dermatology. He provides the full range of Cosmetic Dermatology procedures, including V-beam laser, Laser Hair Removal, Fraxel Restore. Dr. Albert has extensive experience in treating Psoriasis, Vitiligo and general Dermatology conditions.
Dr. Albert went to Medical School at Washington University in St. Louis, and completed his Dermatology training at the Washington Hospital Center. He graduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelors Degree in Physics--Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa. He has extensive knowledge and experience with lasers. He was doing research with laser transmission through fogs long before lasers were used in Dermatology.
Dr. Albert is founder of The Shalom Children's Fund, which buys clothes, food, medication and medical supplies for poor and orphaned children in the Ukraine. The fund recently built a playground at the Orphanage in Zitomer. This charity has been in existence for 5 years, and has purchased clothing and food for over 400 children. The fund is unique in that all donated monies, 100%, go directly to the children. Dr. Albert personally supervises the purchasing and distribution of clothing, and takes the children shopping every 2 -3 months.
Dr. Samantha A. Toerge is a board-certified dermatologist who specializes in general medical and cosmetic dermatology. It is her mission to provide the highest level of medical care to her patients. She offers a full range of the most up to date and minimally invasive cosmetic procedures which include botox ®, dysport®, restalyne®, laser resurfacing with the Fraxel® for fine lines, dark spots and acne scarring, laser hair removal, laser treatments for redness and dark spots and chemical peels. It is her goal to use cosmetic procedures to achieve a natural and refreshed appearance. She also focuses on preventing pre-mature aging and sun damage. Dr. Toerge works with her patients to decide the appropriate treatment to meet their unique goals.
Dr. Toerge completed her undergraduate education at Amherst College, in Amherst Massachusetts, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She received her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania graduating with multiple honors including membership to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, the Janet M. Glasgow Memorial Achievement Citation, for Scholastic Achievement, The William Likoff, M.D. Award for Distinction in the Care of Medical Patients and Commitment to Academic Excellence and scoring within the top 97-98% of all medical students on all of her licensing examinations. She completed her residency at Georgetown University Hospital and Washington Hospital Center in Washington, District of Columbia, where she was the Chief Resident of Dermatology. She has been awarded Most Compassionate Doctor 2011 and 2012, and The Consumers Research Council's Guide to America's Top Dermatologists listing for 2010 and 2011. Dr. Toerge also completed a research fellowship at the Washington Hospital Center focusing on the latest treatments for psoriasis and acne.
Dr. Toerge is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. She maintains hospital privileges at INOVA Fairfax Hospital.
Dr. Toerge is a Washington, DC metro area native. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband, son and daughter, socializing with friends, playing tennis, and yoga.
